The Activity Committee is a dynamic part of the UPF organisation. Our committee is an important resource for UPF members as many of our events act as a forum for communication across the different committees and gives active members the opportunity to meet other UPF volunteers.
We are responsible for planning study trips, banquets, internationally inspired events, pub nights and currently we are planning a fundraiser for an organisation in Colombia together with the Travel Committee that will take place in the middle of February 2012. We will also organise a study trip to Berlin in March 2012 in order to visit interesting NGOs and institutions. As a grand finale we will arrange a number of study visits in Copenhagen in May.
Running along with these events is also our discussion group Pickwick that is held once every second week. Pickwick is an opportunity to practice talking and discussion in English but also the perfect chance to learn more about the different topics we are discussing each week.
Those who join our committee are welcome to contribute with creative initiatives and ideas about internationally inspired study trips and social events. New and socially creative people are always welcome to join. We look forward to seeing you at our next event!
