Every week during the academic year, UPF invites guests to give lectures on diverse topics in both English and Swedish. The Lecture Committee is responsible for this work. Academics, diplomats, artists, journalists, politicians – from far and near. As a member, you will be able to attend all lectures at no cost. Wednesdays at 19.00 in Café Athen is the usual time and venue, but make sure to check the calendar regularly so that you don’t miss out on a favourite.
Working with the Lecture Committee is a great opportunity to invite a lecturer that you admire, or otherwise find interesting. First, together with the committee you invite your guest. When your guest comes to Lund to give the lecture, you are UPF’s representative for the evening and get a good chance to establish contact and interact with the guest.
