Cecilia Uddén "The Arab Spring - one year later"

UPFs series of lectures concerning the Arab Spring continues with Cecilia Uddén: MiddleEast Correspondent of Swedish Broadcasting and awarded with Stora Journalistpriset ("Great Journalist Award") in 2011.She arrived in Cairo last year on Jan 24, because some of her blo...gger friends said: "maybe you should be here, it could be another one of those tiny protests with a couple of hundred people, but it could also be the big one…" It was the big one.
The lecture will be held on the 2th of February, 19:00 in the Eden Auditorium
Entrance is free for members of UPF, and 30 kronor for non-members.
Where is Egypt heading? What kinds of clashes are in the making? How committed with the islamists in power be to freedom of expression, freedom of religion, and freedom of speech?
And will the generals in the military council, SCAF, actually step down?
