With only one month left to the United States presidential election UPF, together with Lund University, proudly invites you to a lecture held by the U.S. Ambassador to Sweden, Mark Brzezinski.
On the 6:th of November it will be decided who will be the president of the United States for the following four years. Will it be the democratic candidate Barack Obama or the republican Mitt Romney? The run-up for the election is intensive with debates and different campaigns for the two candidates. The first debate held on October 3:rd was on one of the elections biggest issues – the economy. Other issues with a lot of focus this election is the environment, the war in Afghanistan and health care.
Mark Brzezinski will visit us on October 10:th to talk about and answer all our questions on the election. He is an American lawyer and diplomat who has worked as the U.S. Ambassador to Sweden since 2011.
