Vita Kränkta Män  - Ett samtal med Kawa Zolfagary

 Välkomna till en kväll där UPF samtalar med grundaren till VKM, Kawa Zolfagary!

Zolfagary är grundaren av facebooksidan "Vita kränkta män" som senare blev en bok med samma namn. Han är skribent, konsult och nätaktivist som ofta debatterar jämlikhet och jämställdhet. Denna kväll kommer vi prata om varför sidan skapades, varför den behövs, varför den las ner och mycket annat!

Inträdet är gratis för dig som är medlem i Utrikespolitiska föreningen, 20 riksdaler för dig som är medlem i AF och 30 för övriga.

Pickwick: Invisible conflicts: Kongo Kinshasa

Join us Thursday 7th at the second Pickwick meeting for this semester! Pickwick is UPFs very own discussion group on foreign politics. The tone of the discussion is very informal and an interest is all that is needed!

The theme of this week’s discussion is ‘invisible conflicts’, with a special focus on Kongo-Kinshasa. Why do some conflicts become invisible? Can we truly depend on the media to give us a reliable picture of reality? Come and share your thoughts on this with us!  Pickwick meeting: Violence against women - Discussion group.               How can we face attitudes that accept violence and gender inequality? In what ways can the priority of this type of violence be set higher on the international agenda? All members are welcome to join!
This event is a collaboration with Lund Rising Events organised by the Social Sciences Student Union as a part of the "One Billion Rising Campaign".
