The Photo Committee

The Photo Committee

Are you intrested in photography and do you want to learn more or to teach other photo fellows? Do you like to play with Photoshop or to create inspiring albums, perhaps you know anything about web design? Would you like to take photos at the Association of Foreign Affairs (UPF) weekly lecture with speakers from all over the world, on UPF’s award winning radio or on behalf of articles for UPF’s magazines? Do you want to create a totally new committee and tweak it with some of your own ideas? If so, come and join us!

A picture says more than a thousand words they say, and therefore illustrating photos plays an important part when it comes to increase and promote knowledge and understanding between people in the today’s global world.

The Photo Committee is a brand new committee, created in the need of documenting, observative and vivid photographs with a starting point at already existing activities within UPF. To catch lecturers inspiring commitment in a photo, illustrate or point out the message in an article and to document the social spirit at UPF happenings is our commitee’s main job. How far we’ll go with this committee is within the boundaries of our members minds, though! Photo competitions, photo reportage or exhibitions are all possible things we could work on in the future.

This Photo Committe is a committee open for everyone, everyone with an interest in photography. No previous knowledge is required, we all learn of each other in our tasks. Our only demand is that we all have our own camera, preferable a system camera.

Does it sounds interesting or do you have any questions? Don’t hesitate to contact us or why not step by at one of our open meetings? Hope to see you soon!
